About UBIS

The University of Business and International Studies (UBIS) is a Swiss Boutique University which is part of Linden Education Group(link to:http://lindeneducationpartners.com/ ), a consortium of boutique universities based in the U.S.

UBIS offers courses in English: Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Business Administration (dual Swiss/U.S. in cooperation with the University of the Potomac) and International Relations plus a series of Industry Specific Certificate programs customized to the ever-changing marketplace.

UBIS gives you the choice of physically studying in Geneva, London and Washington D.C. – or to study online.

In addition to its main campuses and as part of our continued commitment to innovation, UBIS has established key partnerships with leading universities in the United States, Europe, Asia and Africa, to provide students, working professionals and faculty with a more global view of the educational and work landscape. UBIS currently enrolls students from about 40 different countries. Those dynamics create exclusive degrees and opportunities uniquely tailored to address the requirements of businesses and organizations for a globalized career.

Accreditation and recognition

UBIS operates under the authorization of the “Service de I’ Enseignement Prive, Department de I’lnstruction publique”, the Swiss Cantonal authority that oversee the private education sector in Geneva.

In addition, UBIS is certified by eduQua, (a national certification body) and is also the first Swiss Educational institution to be certified by ISO 29990 for its Executive programs.

UBIS is also a member of the European Council for Business Education (ECBE) and the European Council of International Schools (ECIS).

In 2013, UBIS became an official associate member of the European Foundation for Management Development (EFMD).

Moreover, UBIS is accredited by the International Assembly for Collegiate Business Education (IACBE). IACBE is nationally recognized by the Council for High Education Accreditation (CHEA).

IACBE is the leader in mission-driven and outcomes-based programmatic accreditation in business and management education for Participant-centered colleges and universities throughout the world.

UBIS now has over 40 university partners around the world in more than 30 different countries. These partnerships provide our Participants with the opportunity to study in a richly diverse learning environment and to expand their networks through UBIS’s global alumni community.

The future of people management is a central strategy for UBIS.
