Jasmine has over 10 years of assurance, advisory and consulting experience and was the local lead Director for PwC Myanmar. She is currently working as a Managing Partner for Katalysts.
Banking and investment management sectors are her areas of expertise and she has a strong understanding of asset management, investment funds, trade flow processes (end to end), structured finance and treasury product knowledge, financial analysis, due diligence transactions, people and change transformation of both private and investment bank operations.
Jasmine used to lead the local teams in PwC Myanmar for consulting, government and banking advisory projects. Some of her projects include:
Infrastructure and Bid Advisory -
She was involved in the bid advisory for a proposed telecom client during the telecom license issued in 2012. She has also led the team for an infrastructure bid advisory works for a state owned enterprise and assisting World Bank to corporatize the state owned entity to be better competitive in the changing telecommunication industry in Myanmar.
Due Diligence Projects: Jasmine was involved in due diligence of an automobile assembling plant for a Japanese based Automobile Company, due diligence of a sanitary manufacturing and distribution company for a Thai based FMCG Company.
Consulting: Her experience in the consulting includes project such as operational review for business process improvement and management reporting framework development for local Myanmar based businesses which includes SMEs and conglomerates.
Accounting and Business Advisory : Her experience in business advisory includes for leading local banks for IFRS conversion and review of pricing financial model to ensure the management is better informed about the business plan.
Strategy Advisory and Consulting: Her experience in Strategy Advisory and Consulting includes for market study and strategy implementations in Myanmar for leading offshore bank in Thailand.
Jasmine’s client base in Myanmar includes multinational clients, including Japanese, US and Singapore investors who are keen to enter Myanmar. Prior to her role in PwC Myanmar, she worked in the maritime and financial service industry in Myanmar for over 5 years.
Jasmine’s is also a member of USASEAN Business Council (USABC) where she actively participates and assists the Council’s business activities and mission relating to foreign investments, and community initiatives in Myanmar. Jasmine has an MBA (Corporate Finance) from Nottingham Trent University, UK and a Bachelor of Science, University of Yangon, Myanmar.
